ESC Club Kicks Off 2025 with Exciting Recruitment Event and App Demos at Scripps Miramar Ranch Library
San Diego, CA — January 4, 2025 — The ESC Club rang in the new year with a vibrant and inspiring Recruitment Event at the Scripps Miramar Ranch Library, inviting students to dive into a world of creativity, community, and innovation.

Attendees got an inside look at the ESC Club’s mission to promote multicultural communication and STEM education for students from diverse backgrounds. Club leaders shared highlights from previous outreach programs and hackathons, offering insights into how students can get involved in making a difference through technology and service.
Two student teams wowed the audience with live demos of their innovative apps:
- 📱 ESL Classroom App – Designed to support new immigrants in mastering English through interactive lessons.
- 🥗 Health Food Tracker App – Created to help youth and families make informed, nutritious food choices.
The event drew interest from local families and successfully welcomed about ten new middle and high school members into the club. Attendees also enjoyed refreshments, mini games, and prizes, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
