Student Innovators Inspire the Next Generation During the GYRI Forum
San Diego, CA – July 18, 2026 – The ESC Club proudly hosted the 2026 Congressional App Challenge (CAC) Winner Student Panel at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) as part of the Global Youth and Robotics Innovation (GYRI) Forum. The event brought together students, parents, educators, and STEM enthusiasts for a unique opportunity to learn directly from some of America’s top young app developers.
This special session highlighted the achievements of seven Congressional App Challenge winners from the past three years, representing five award-winning applications across multiple congressional districts. The panel demonstrated how students can transform innovative ideas into real-world technology solutions while developing leadership, teamwork, and entrepreneurship skills.
